Breaking News: iPad can’t play Flash – soon to be FALSE!

by useyouriPad on September 12, 2011

From the Adobe Website September 8, 2011:
“Today we released Adobe Flash Media Server 4.5 that will set the stage to expand online content libraries and give audiences more choice and access to the content they want. This release enables traditional broadcasters and publishers to drive new revenue channels by accelerating video delivery to more devices with better quality, and quality of service in an era of change.”

What does this mean? It means that Adobe is going to repackage Flash as HTML5 so that it will display on iOS devices. It will not happen right away but when it does it will also mean that iOS devices will have access to Flash content , but no modifications to Flash are required. Flash should port smoothly and since it will not be installed there are no concerns over battery life or system stability. – ADVANTAGE Apple and iPad.

A dual core processor is dieffrent from a multi-processor system. In the latter, there are two separate CPUs with their own resources. In the former, resources are shared, and the cores reside on the same chip. A multi-processor system is faster than a system with a dual core processor, and a dual core system is faster than a single-core system, when everything else is equal. If each core is´╗┐ 1.4ghz then GSIII will rule everything with his 5.6ghz, genious.
